Hardware Ordering - Employees (Individual Portal)

To order select Hardware Ordering > New Order

You will have 3 options:

Order New Device - This allows you to order a brand new device with a brand new number, only use this if you DO NOT have a phone number already.

Upgrade Existing Device - Select this option if you are upgrading your current mobile device.

Order Accessory - This is selected if you would like to order an accessory only. (May not be available depending on your companies settings).

Once you have selected your option if you've picked Order New Device or Order Accessory you will be presented with the store to select your device, if you selected Upgrade Existing Device you will be presented with the choice of which device you will be upgrading.

Once you find the device you'd like, click on "Select Term".

You will then be able to pick your "Color".

Then select "Checkout"

Next area is the General Info.

Select “Order New Device”, “Upgrade Existing Device” or “Order Accessory”.This step is only for customers that have elected to use the “End-User Requests Menu.” If not please proceed to “Ordering New Device”.

If you’ve a multiple carriers you can select the carrier you want to choose for a ordering a device.
Click on the tabs to switch options between “Order New Device”, “Upgrade Existing Number” and “Order Accessory”.

If you have Spare Inventory you can select this option
You will be able to select the term & size of the device you would like to purchase

Select Accessories & Confirm Order

After you select your device you will be able to add Accessories to the order
If you’re upgrading an existing device you will be able to see information like Current Device, Contract Balance and whether the device

MDM Integration within My-Serve

In this article we'll teach you how to setup your MDM within My-Serve, currently the only MDM we support is MaaS 360.

You will need to go into Settings > Integrations.

Once in there select IBM MaaS 360 from the drop down and click "Add".

It will then ask you for some information:

Once the information has been entered it will sync My-Serve with your MDM account. This can take up to 24 hours, once this is completed you will then have access to all users who are currently enrolled in the MDM within our system.

You can access each user by going into the "User Details" area and searching by their Name, Number, IMEI etc.

Once in there a new area will pop-up, this area will allow you to perform quick action items like, lock device, wipe device, reset passcode, send messages to the device, change policy, view installed applications, get location history and more.

To check and see how much data each of your iOS apps are using, you can follow these steps:

1) Launch the Settings app from your Home screen.

2) Visit the Cellular preferences pane and scroll down a bit until you start seeing a list of apps.

Data Pool Recommendations

This feature will recommend to add on additional data packages based on current data usage, this will help mitigate data pool overage costs. Please be advised this is only available currently for Bell & Telus.

With our Data Pool Recommendation report you will receive a notification at 75%, 90% and 100%. The email will look like the following:

The email will break down how much of the pool is currently used, the current total pool and projected pool usage based on current data usage. It will also project your total data overage and as well as overage costs.

Clicking on "Live Data Pooling" will bring you into the My-Serve portal. Here our system will recommend a package(s) that should be added and the total. Clicking on the recommendation will then bring you to the next screen to allow you to select the phone numbers you'd like to have the package provisioned one.

Here it will showcase the users who have used the most amount of data and which lines to add the packages to. Upon clicking "Send Request" this will then send the request to the carrier and cc the admin who made the request in the email.
